    - outlook 2007 search problems Outlook 2007 has serious problems finding names, numbers, etc. The index status show as finished, the contact is properly created, name, last name, it has a valid email, it has been saved already. In a new mail, when checking a name to let outlook find the e-mail address of that contact, it does not find even the contact but you can see it if you look for it manually. Also it is impossible to find a contact searching by it's telephone number. Is there any way to change Windows desktop search with Google desktop search?     - signature not found on replies Outlook 2003. Have a user who gets this error message every time she replies to any email. "The signature (07yS) could not be located. The signature may have been removed." The 07yS in parenthesis are actually some non alphnumeric characters. Weird. I checked and she does not have a signature set up at all. What gives?     - How do I report a bug? How do I report a bug? I'd like to let Microsoft know that apparently there is no way to include a delivery point barcode on a label that is generated from a mail merge from Outlook 2003. This is an oversight as it was a feature in earlier versions of Outlook. I know it can be done from Word 2003, but I can't filter the data nearly as expeditiously in Word as I can in Outlook. I have a couple users who store mail in the root folder, right under the mailbox, not in any folder, this works in Outlook 2000, but in 2003 you can't see them, is there a way to get at them without opening the mailbox in 2000?     - Syncing Problem I have a Windows based Treo (model 750W). Actually, have had several so I think this is an Outlook problem, not a handset issue. Not all calendar items or contacts sync from Outlook on the computer to the Treo. No error messages are generated and the computer and the Treo both function, but some Calendar items and most Contacts simply won't sync. I've rebuilt partnerships, done all of the computerized trouble shoot lists from Microsoft, Palm, AT&T, and nobody has a clue. I've rebuilt the Contacts from a PST file, moved to another computer, everthing I could think of. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to those items that won't sync. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.     - Word closes when replying to emails in Outlook XP (sp2) & Office 2003 (sp2) I have a user that keeps Outlook and Word open at all times during the day, but occationally when they reply to an email when they hit the send button word will close. Word is set as the email editor, and during a quick test it would seem that not using it as the editor will fix the problem, but we would like to continue to use word as the editor if possible.     - resorting loses place This needs fixed. Do this: 1. Make sure your current folder (inbox) is sorted chronologically 2. Select the top message 3. Click on the column header to sort by sender 4. Notice Outlook does not remember have the original message highlighted anymore. If it does happen to work, sort by subject, it will probably lose its place this time.     - Message Rejection Errors Hi, I have a Windows XP Pro computer with, Outlook 2000, AVG antivirus with an Internet mail account setup. I can send and receive mail with no problems with regular use. When I get an email and the sender requests a response, the response goes in the Outbox but gives me the following error when Outlook tries to send it; "The message could not be sent because one or more of the recipients was rejected by the server." No other computer in the company has this issue and all of the email server settings on this computer are the same as other computers that have the same software and are working fine. They recieve the same e-mail, including an inserted picture and a small picture in the signature. User A can see both pictures User B cannot see any of them, just the frames around.     - Uninstalling Outlook 2003 and re-installing Outlook 2007 I was having problems with Outlook 2007 which came as part of Office 2007 Professional. I was told to uninstall and reinstall Outlook 2007. I uninstalled Outlook 2007 and decided to uninstall the 2003 Office applications also. I couldn't do the latter because ' I didn't have the installation source for the product' (even though I had the CD I loaded the 2003 programs from in the computer). Okay, so Outlook 2007 is uninstalled and 2003 will not uninstall. When I put the 2007 Office Professional CD in, it shows Outlook - just Outlook - X'd out and will not let me reinstall. Help.     - Why did my system suddenly slow way down using Office Outlook has never run well on my computer. I use a Dell 1510 with 2GB of Ram and the Centrino Duo processor. Lately, when I key in info the letters/numbers I key do not appear on the screen for as much as ten seconds. To further frustrate me, the other Office 2003 programs no longer respond quickly.     - Outlook 2007 automatically purging deleted IMAP messages Hi, I have set up an IMAP account in Outlook 2007, and have de-selected the setting for Outlook to automatically purge my deleted messages when switching folders. Basically I have an all folder in my mailbox for all mail that has all the mail organized in categories, then several search folders in my mailbox search folders searching based on the categories. Then, when my autoarchive archives mail older than 30 days, it moves the mail to my archive folder.....however, my search folders arent the same.. When I use "click here to add a new task" and save it I cannot retrieve/open it to edit it. When I click on the "icon" at the beginning of the line it opens a new Task screen.     - delivery point barcode in merge to labels from Outlook 2003 contacts Does anybody know how to include a delivery point barcode on labels generated from a mail merge initiated in Oultook 2003? It's very simple to do this if you originate the merge from Word (there's an icon for it in the wizard), but I prefer to initiate my merges from Outlook. I typically contact people by phone and then generate a label to them if they express interest in my services. I can easily send labels to a filtered group or to selected contacts straight out of Outlook. It's much more cumbersome to have to go into Word and look up the contacts again in order to create/edit a recipient list. The only problem is that I'm not seeing a way to insert a delivery point barcode when I initiate the merge from Outlook. I used to be able to do this from Outlook 2000.     - Outlook 2003 Exchange 2003 Mail getting routed to Junk E-Mail folder problem Ok, We have an Exchange 2003 Server with NAI Groupshield and SpamKiller. This user has Outlook 2003. The problem is mail coming from our own web server to this user is getting sent into the Junk E-Mail folder in Outlook. It is not being flagged as SPAM from Groupshield/Spamkiller you can see the spam score is below the range and the subject is not getting the ****Spam added to it like all other spam does. So we check the rules don't see any that would route this mail to that folder so we try and create a rule to move it back into the Inbox and it does not work either. So the user has to constantly check for this mail in the Junk E-Mail folder. Can anyone give me some direction to go in here or another trick to try?     - POP 3 ERROR I use outlook 2003, (not outlook express) and have a pop 3 email account set up to download my email from Verizon. I use Windows XP Pro. The problem I have is this, when I first boot up my computer and go to my profile, run outlook 2003, my email downloads with no problem. I log off my profile and log back in at another time, run outlook 2003, and then I receive an error message saying the pop 3 email server can not be found. If I shut down the computer and restart and boot up again, I can download my email from Verizon. This happens the same way all the time, every time. Thanks for any help!     - lost emails I had a number of files for my emails, I thought were backed up either on my local pc or our server. I was able to click on one of the folders and read all the contents up to just recently. I was given a new pc and IT support thought everything was brought over to my new computer. Guess again. I went into one of folders and found all email stored from 2/07 to the date I got the new computer GONE. I still have those from before that date and those after I got the new computer, but everything else is gone. But, I'm confused. Going back to before the new pc, how could I read all my email in one folder, email that apparently was backed up in two different places, but yet appeared to be in one folder??? Does Outlook display all the contents of a folder even if it may be stored in different locations?     - Creating a meeting request in Outlook 2003 Hello, I have a question about Outlook calendar and when a delegate creates a meeting. If a delegate has a shared calendar of the person that they are a delegate for open. The delegate right clicks on the users calendar and selects "New meeting request with" option. This will create the meeting but the delegate will be the organizer and not the intended user. If the delegate right clicks on the users calendar and selects "New Meeting Request" the intended user will be the organizer and not the delegate. Is this working as intended? Just a quick one - I am looking at the feature of publishing my calendar
online and having someone else view it. When I choose the person I want it to
go to, they receive an email and have 2 options - subscribe to the calendar,
or view it online. The viewing online works no problem, but I am having
issues with the subscription.

Does the person who is to subscribe to the calendar have to be using Outlook
2007? When I try with Outlook 2003 either the page does not load, or the a
generic Microsoft page appears saying there was a problem with the page.
