Outlook still open but not on the tool bar

Hi,

I'm a new outlook 2007 user and I'm experiencing a problem. So here is the
situation; when I minimize outlook, it disapears from the tool bar, then I
have to click again on the outlook icon to get the application back. It only
happens with outlook.

Does anybody would know how to set this problem ?

Have you looked in the Systray? (That's the bit to the right of the
toolbar.....)

Hello Gordon,

Following your e-mail, I checked in the systray. If I click on the outlook
icon I see a check mark on ''hide the minimize icon'' maybe it is the
problem, Do you know how to remove this check mark.

Just click on "Hide when minimized" in that box.....But if you know that's
where it is, why not leave it there, instead of it taking up room on the
taskbar? It still operates normally when it's in the Systray...
