    - how can i save a draft of my message I'm interested in saving my messages for a little while before sending them out. But I would still like to be able to download my messages from my POP3 server. That is, I'd like to receive new messages without sending mine right away.     - How do I convert table to text in Outlook 2007? In 2000 and 2003, it was a simple matter of selecting the text and then changing through table|convert to text.     - Outlook 2003 hangs when open word documents Programs open at the time of problem: Outlook 2003, Word 2003, CA Security Suite (newest version), Spybot-SD Resident, Palm sync program Problem: When try to open a word attachment inside the Outlook(.rtf or .doc) without saving it to the hard drive first, the inbox window would turn white and stay that way for about 3-5 seconds, then the document would open up OK in Word. This happened randomly. I think it may have something to do with Outlook and Word, since pdf file works fine. I already tried the winword.exe unregserver and regserver method. The pc was working fine until the pc got spamblocker utility installed and I have to remove it from his pc. CA security suite and spybot sd checked the pc and it was clean. Word document open up fine when I did it from the hard drive. I also removed all the add-on in Outlook and Spybot SD Resident. Any suggestion?     - General Failure Error Box with Links in Email For Firefox Default Outlook 2007 I've set Firefox up as my default browser. When I click on a URL in an email, I get an error box that says "General Failure" then lists the URL and says the system cannot find the file specified.     - Outlook 2000 blank email content I have a user sometimes receiving email with blank content while while other in the same company with Outlook 2000 also have no problem seeing the content of the same email. I checked the anti virus (Symantec 10.1 corporate) and no activie noted. I also checked fro possible rich text problem and the user has no problem with rich text email with formatted font. It will open successfully in "safemode" however when trying to launch regular, it doesn't even show up in task manager ( does show as a queued 'process') however I do get an Outlook "Splash Screen" as if it is loading. * I noticed also that CPU usage jumps to a constant 56% and only drops back down when I terminate the OUTLOOK.EXE process.     - Outlook mail delivery / 2 accounts Helo Everyone, I have a computer with outlook 2003 and 2 email accounts, 1 is a exchange account and the other is a POP account. The problem is that all mail is delivered to one account or the other. I have tried to go into control panel...mail ...email accounts and at the bottom part of the screen it says "Deliver new mail to this location" and you can select the exchange mailbox or the personal folder, but when i switch one of the it switchs the other. So if i select the exchange folder then all mail from the pop account and exchange is delivered to the exchange account. What i want is for POP mail to be delivered to the personal folders and the exchange mail to be delivered to the exchange mailbox.     - Inability to archive Outlook 2003 data My archive data has been set to archive on an external drive. I have had no problems until recently when archiving begins and is almost 80% complete. It stops tells me that I have an "I/O" error. I thought that I would clean up the external drive by re-formatting that drive to solve the problem. Prior to re-formatting I was going to copy the data including archive.pst on another drive. I found that when I was copying archive.pst the same problem as the above occurred. I don't want to lose my already "archived" data. Question how do I save my archived data and continue to be able to archive it? What is the fix please?     - "Unread Mail" search folder possible in Outlook XP? In Outlook 2003 (which I use at work) there is a search folder called "Unread Mail" that shows all unread mail no matter what folder it is put in by rules. I use Outlook XP (at home) and have rules that sort mail as it comes in however it is hard to tell how much new mail has come in. Is there a way to create something that functions as a Search Folder (maybe using a rule another folder) in Outlook XP? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.     - Calender appts with additional "cushion" of time Outlook 2003: I would like to schedule an appointment at, say 10:00, but also have the calendar include an hour of "travel time" before it and after it that everyone else would see as "not schedulable". I always have to put in little "fake" additional appointments around the real appointment to accomplish this (or a second big appointment). I would rather have the single appointment say "10:00" if that is the time of the appointment but have a cushion extension that I control that would be part of the one entry, and not have all the additional clutter. In the same light, if someone else schedules a meeting, I might like to have a "cushion" of 15 minutes around that meeting to prevent someone from scheduling another meeting right up against the first, to ensure that I can make it around the office on time, have time to check phonemail, etc. Again, I'd rather not edit every single appointment (which changes the time of the actual appointment!) or have to add "fake" appointments around everything to accomplish this.     - Outlook 2003 Signature Spell Check So, I have rolled out a new signature block to the users in our company using a VBscript. However, now that the signature has been rolled out, some users are reporting that Outlook now spell checks their signature block. This is a problem since they have their e-mail addresses in their signature block, along with some uncapitalized proper nouns that are there for visual appeal. In the script I specified objSelection.NoProofing = True for the signature text. When I open a new message in Outlook with Word as the editor I can see that the NoProofing is set on that text, and it spell checks the message properly, but our HTML stationery doesn't show up properly. When I open the message with the Outlook editor, the HTML shows up properly but it spell checks the signature block. Not on every user, just on about 20% of them. I know that we can just add the misspelled words in the signature block to the dictionary, but that doesn't really solve the problem. Is there a registry setting that I am missing?     - Open web link in mails I am not usre if this is an Outlook or Firefox question. Please bear with me. I used to use Outlook 2003 and Firefox2. I had been able to click on a link in my mails and the link will open in Firefox with no problem. I have now upgraded to Firefox3 beta.     - Outlook 2003 not showing reply/forward icons...? I just migrated my users to OL2003 and Exchange 2003 last week, and I have a user with about 2k emails in his inbox stating that not all of his emails are showing the reply/forward icons. Some are, however. BUT, if you go into the email you do get the banner at the top mentioning it had been replied to or forwarded. We are using Outlook in cached mode. So I thought to delete the .ost file and re-sync his emails.. this however did not cure the problem. Has anyone got any suggestions?     - Why is Outlook 2007 much slower than Outlook 2003 Its very difficult to support a company when all the employees do not like the office suite. People are asking all the time why is office 2007 slower? I have to grasp for an anser saying something about more features, but alas they aren't satisfied. Sure they have large pst and sure they check 3 different calendars. But no bad pluggins at all. Does anyone have a good answer for when the executive secretary is complaining because her outlook is so much slower than 2003. She shouldn't have to change her work habbits like checking one calendar at a time or delete all here emails. She didn't have to before.     - Outlook 2003-2007 with Exchange 2007 simple macro creation help? I'd like to make a macro that i could install on any 2003 or 2007 outlook client that would work with exchange 2007.. The macro is pretty simple.. but i dont know the syntax of how to do this.. at least making sure it happens in this manner.. Ordinarily with our sonicwall antispam system.. if a user gets a spam message in their inbox.. they right click them and do a forward (so the original email with headers is attached) and forward to the appropriate email address... I'd like to make this happen via a macro button.. and the button must support the ability to highlight multiple spam emails.. click the button and instantly those are forwarded along (and then automatically deleted or moved to the deleted items section)..     - Outlook 2007 still downloads emails when Outlook is closed I can not find a reason why this is doing this. i close outlook using the close X button in the upper right corner or by going to File--Exit. But Outlook continues to download and notify me of emails even though the program is closed. When i open task manager Outlook is still running. Thus why its downloading emails. BUT why is outlook still running even though i have closed it. Very strange for me as i have never seen outlook do that before. I am using active sync for my phone but sync isnt active unless the phone is plugged in, which it rarely is. could this be why its doing this ?     - HTML forms in Outlook 2007 Hi, I am trying to insert html code into Outlook 2007 so that I can send out an email survey (a html form).     - Outlook 2007 Send Email takes 5 minutes Using latest Office 2007 Enterprise with Outlook BCM on high end stand alone loptop... Office 2007 is pretty buggy. In Outlook, when I reply and write a new email, when I click send (which movies it to the outbox), sometimes it is instant (the way it should be) and sometimes it takes 5 minutes for the email screen to disappear (you cannot do anything with the computer during this time, but is does ultimately put the email in the out box and is sent appropirately). I have notice the same problem with Adobe professional, sending a email PDF (still ultimatly puts it in the outbox and is sent fine). Any suggestions?     - HTML Messages - Blank printout and preview Hi, For an unknown reason, I now get a blank screen or printout when I preview or print a HTML message. This is not the case for "Plain Text" messages. Steps taken so far: - Reset IE7 to its default installation configuration - Insure that all 4 Page margins are set to .75 inches The reason I have looked into IE7 setttings is that the same problem occurs when I try to print Web pages. As a home user dealing with <10 emails a day and most of the spam labelled by my isp (and easy to filter) is there anything that later version of Outlook do that would make it worth the expense of upgrading? I spent 2 hours with tier two support at AT&T, much of it with them having
remote access to my computer - to no avail. I currently use Yahoo Mail and
want to switch to OE 6 to avoid all the ads that block screen area. Can
anyone out there help me? AT&T feels there is some sort of software conflict
and walked away. I turned off all firewall, virus software etc.
I cannot locate anything on this specific error message on the MS site but I
do see several references to it when I Google Search.

This forum is for Office Outlook, not OE. However--you cannot use either one
for Yahoo Mail. Use your browser instead for free HTTP mail. Set up an ATT
email acct in addition to Yahoo and then you can use OE or Outlook for that.
