We use Office 2007 and when sending out a meeting request from Outllok 2007,
some of the users get the following instead of the request:

Your recipient's mail client appears to be failing to decode the incoming
message properly. The data you show is the contents of a standard vCalendar
file. Instead of seeing the data as an attachment, it is being displayed as
text.
