    - My Deleted Items folder has disappeared! As the subject says, my 'Deleted Items' folder has disappeared from my Mail folders display. Running O2007 in XPSP2. If I check the properties (folder size) of the personal folders, I can see that the folder exists and has data (105Mb!) in it. Under the folder list view it shows: Contacts, Sent Items, Outbox, Junk, Drafts, Inbox, Tasks, Calendar. I haven't knowingly deleted it - how do I get it back (so I can tidy it up!)     - AutoCorrect Disappearing Using Windowx XP Pro with latest updates and Office 2007. I have entered AutoCorrect items into Outlook for replies to an email, and they keep disappearing when I start outlook again or reboot. This is very frustrating. Any ideas? Is it possible to enter AutoCorrect from the main menu instead of only when replying to a message? Reply is the only time you get the Office Button that has the proofing/autocorrect option. When you double click on an email to view it all, if you click X to delete, the next email is displayed in full screen. I would rather go back to the list of emails, since I can delete many by reading only the first few words. Any ideas how to set this up?     - Emails not downloading This maky not be and Outlook problem, but I have tried everything else and am now clutching at straws. Have been using Outlook 2003 SP3 for a few years, have recently had the problem where my emails are not downloading from the Webmail server as it always had. My first point of call was my email provider, who have tested everything and all is fine. Contacted the ISP and they have washed there hand of it as it is an incoming email problem only and eveything internet related in working as normal. I do not get an error message - the send and receive attempts as normal but it downloads so slow that unless the emails are small (less than 20kb) they never get to me. So far I have deleted the email account and re-set it up. Run a detect and repair. I have tried downloading on another computer at a different location and had no problems.     - Text view jumps to top when composing email Outlook 2007 When I am composing an email the view often jumps to the top of the email text even though the cursor remains at the bottom. This means that if the text is very long I have to scroll down the page to continue to see what I am typing. I do not see that it is related to any particular keyboard entry. It does this at seemingly random, annoying times. I'm using Office 2007 on XP Pro. I have had this problem since installing Office 2007 last year. We have 3 laptops and I want them all to access the mailto:admin@abc.com address.     - Assign and share Outlook tasks by group Hello, I need help with creating and sharing tasks in Outlook. I have a 5 shift staff that I have broken up into staff groupings in outlook. I want to create a task in outlook for everyone, but when one person in the group answers that the task is completed, it fills in as complete and does not require anyone else in the group to provide an update.     - Category colours in outlook 2007 I have seen a lot of related threads in these discussion groups, but I cannot get my problem solved... this problem only arrises on one pc with XP Pro and Office Outlook2007 in a domain with 15 similar machines. They all are connected to Exchange. When selecting a category for an appointment in a public calender, this category is only visible on this pc. Other users just see an entry with the default color, with no category selected. However, it works well the other way around!     - Automatically schedule .pst backups via Backup tool? I downloaded the Outlook backup tool plugin which looks like it will just copy the .pst file after you exit it. This is simple, but does what I want. But can I automatically schedule this backup?     - Constantly having to Re-Enter Network Password I just changed my cable-modem and now I keep getting the "Enter Network Password" dialog box in OL2003 when I click Send/Receive. It already shows a password in the field. Also, if I enter the password again (and put a check in the Remember Password box), it still asks for the password again, and again.     - Delete extra inbox I have Microsoft Outlook 2003 SP3. I had two web-based email accounts that I used Outlook to pull the email from. I have now closed one of the accounts. I would like to get rid of one of the inboxes, but the main one appears to have been connected to the account I closed. The option to close it is greyed out, the account I left open does give me the option to close it. I have deleted the profile to the closed account. When I look at the path for the open mail account, Outlook indicates that it cannot find the path of the file, but it is pulling my mail fine.     - Searching Outlook 2003 in Vista I had the impression that Vista's search capabilities were much better than XP, including being able to search inside Outlook messages. So I was hoping to be able to search from the directory where I keep several PST files to find which one has the messages I'm looking for. But Vista search doesn't seem to work as I'd hoped.     - Problems with Outlook 2003 Archive I'm having trouble with messages being archived to locations that I didn't expect, and would like some clarification on how archiving works within Outlook 2003. I was expecting that each PST file would have different default archive settings but it appears this isn't the case. Instead, it seems that the default settings apply to every folder unless explicitly overwritten. This is a problem for me because I typically keep several PST files open. What I'm finding is that all of the archives are being directed into a single PST file - undoing what I've been trying to achieve with the separate PST files. Since each folder would need to set up explicitly, it appears that the only logical workaround is to turn off auto archiving - at least until I no longer need multiple PST files loaded.     - Font size on incoming mail We have started using Outlook 2007 on a couple of my office PC's. My question concerns the font size of some of the incoming messages. As a POP account all my incoming mail went into the default personal folder inbox whereas the IMAP has a separate account inbox folder. Recently, I bought Office for my Mac at home and found that I could also channel flow to various folders as I do on my PC at work.     - Stop out of office reply to forwarded email I forward my home email (socal.rr.com) to my work email (Outlook Exchange Server). When I am out of office, it replys also to people who have sent email to my home email. I tried to set up a rule to stop processing when address is my home email (not an out of office rule, but an outlook rule) but even though the email seems to be coming from my home email, the out of office goes to the sender, which can be any email address. Depends on which 3rd party tool you are talking about.

All you need is your pst-file. Once you have Outlook running again, connect
to the pst-file by File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...
