I have a couple users who store mail in the root folder, right under the
mailbox, not in any folder, this works in Outlook 2000, but in 2003 you can't
see them, is there a way to get at them without opening the mailbox in 2000?
(exchange 2003 server)

Also, someone just dragged and dropped a message into the Mailbox- username,
and I guess it went there too?

Does Advanced Search locate them? You'd need to know something about the
emails.
