I have a user who created a new Personal Folder in her Outlook and then
proceeded to drag another folder from her regular Inbox to the new folder but
when she dropped it there the only thing that happened is that the Folder is
gone from her Inbox and does nto show up in the new personal folder.

Tried doing searches and have expanded ALL of her trees but we cannot find
that folder any where. Any ideas on what may have happened?

User is using Outlook 2003 with the Use Cached Exchange Mode option turned on.

It's a long shot but maybe the item(s) are in the root of the Personal
Folder. Is a folder of stuff or just the items themselves.

She was dragging the individual items.

I am having her do an Advanced Search of all of her personal folders to see
if they are there.

I just found out that she explained it wrong the first time. What happened
is that the she created a new personal folder and then created sub folders
inside of it and then began dragging e-mails into the sub folders. She says
that when she was done the sub folders disappeared from the personal folder.

I am thinking that maybe she needs to run the scanpst.exe on it to see if
that does anything. What do you think?
