    - Outlook doesn't send messages immediately I have Outlook set up send / receive automatically when exiting and send immediately when connected. More often than not, my outbox will still have messages in it the next time I run Outlook. When I click on the Send/Receive button, the message gets sent.     - Outlook - Black screen and ost file error I've a user using Ms-office 2003 standard version & vista. Frequently he used to get an error. "Ost file is currupt ...." and he was not able to work. To get rid of this problem, I've installed Ms-office 2003 professional version & recreated his profile etc, now the problem is, he gets another error I.e, when he click on "New" to compose an email the screen turn black.     - how do i remove a network group?     - Can't open some pdf files. Hi I have some problems opening some pdf documents fra outlook. I can open some pdf documents, but not all. I get a meaasgebox from Microsoft Office Outlookk, saying something like this (translated from danish) ; 'The file Document.pdf can't be created. Leftclick on the folder where you want to create the file, and click thereafter on settings in the menu to control the security settings of the folder.'     - corrupted profile - blank messages Hi there, I am using OL2007 and sometimes i get messages that seem to have blank body. In most cases they are plain text. However, if i enter through OWA to my Exchange2007 the message is not blank. Also, if i create a new profile for my account, the message is again visible. So, most probably there is something wrong with the profile i use. Since i've configured my Outlook in a specific way (views, fonts, groups etc) which will be gone in case i create a new profile, my question is: Is there a way to preserve/copy these settings in the new profile or is there something i have to edit in the current profile (i guess in the registry) which will fix my problem?     - How do I get message "You replied on...(date & time)" to show? I have work and personal folders set up in my Outlook account. For my work folders, the message "You replied on..(date and time)" appears at the top of my Inbox messages, for those messages I have replied to. However, for my personal folders, no such message appears, even for messages I have replied to. I don't know why this doesn't happen every time I respond to an email.     - Select name window in outlook 2002 I recently had to reformatt my computer and reload Office XP. I installed all the updates and service packs. My question is; before the reinstall when I would click on the "New" email in Outlook 2002 and click on "TO:" the "Select Names" window would have the Contacts on top with the email addresses & or fax #'s visable on the right side, as well as the TO, CC & BC boxes at the bottom of the window. Now the Select Names window is smaller, Contacts are on the left side and you would have to slide the bar to see the email addresses and the To, CC & BC boxes are on the right.     - Blank Messages I have a problem where emails sometimes appear blank. You can read the body of the messages in AutoPreview - but not when you open the email.     - Deleted reminder for bday, but now I want and receive an error mes I started to delete the bday reminder that was automatically generated when I entered all our school's students. I didn't think the teachers wanted to see a reminder for bdays everyday, so i viewed the Calendar by category and added the REMINDER column to the view. I began clicking on the bell icon, which took the reminder off. Now, when I go back to turn the default reminder back on (15 min) it gives me the following message: The reminder for "xxx's Birthday" will not appear because the item is not in your Calendar or Tasks folder.     - How 'group' change color label assoc with bday and stop reminder? I entered all our school's students in Outlook. I also typed in their birthdays within each of their contact information. When it put their birthdays to the Calendar it automatically set a 'reminder' for every single student. Can I 'group' turn off the reminders for all students, or do I have to go in and out of each student and turn this off? Also, I want all their birthdays to be the color purple that has the 'birthday' label associated with it.     - What does "cannot initialize CLR" mean? I updated from office 03 to office 07. When I open my outlook to check email I get a dialog box with a title pane that says "MAPI service catastrophic failure". Inside the dialog box the message reads..."Could not initialize CLR. System cannot find file." My email is still being delivered, in and out but this box comes up repeatedly. I have to close it about 10-12 times when I first open my Outlook.     - Dates changing when i change the time on an appointment Help. I schedule trips for people who charter our buses. I start the appointment sometimes with a time and sometimes without, but I always have the days set. When I then change it to a time leaving and returning. It changes the dates without my doing so. If they then make a change to that time - it will change the time to be accurate but again change the date - and sometimes I don't catch it. It wasn't a real problem until recently. I'm not sure why. I have Outlook 2003 and it has messed up one trip for picking people up and I just found another one today - changed the time and the dates changed again. Can you help me?     - A Repeating Popup Messages Asking For Network Password i just install the trial version of Office 2007. I keep getting a popup message asking me for the network password. This is ever after I ask the system to save my password. This only happens in Outlook 2007. I can recreate the popup by asking for a Send/Receive. This does not happend in Express or any other software. I first thought it was a problem with Norton but stopped the process for Norton and got the same response. A non-Exchange shared hosting account provides email hosting for a certain domain name - "domain1.com". A separate organization has an internal Exchange setup, with an external domain name of "domain2.com". Bob Smith (bob@domain1.com) sends an email to Joe Bloggs (joe@domain2.com).     - saving sent items in inbox I use Outlook 2003 along with my gmail account. All of a sudden every single message I send out (replies/new/forwards) is going to my inbox. It saves in the sent folder as well and that's okay but i have a blackberry that receives messages as well and I don't want the sent items going to my inbox which triggers my blackberry as if I had a new message. I am not able to send from outlook when I am not on my home network however I can receive mail.     - Mailbox Cleanup "pop up" Every time I open Outlook the "pop up" for Mailbox Cleanup shows up. It is not letting our calendars sync. If I put an appointment on my calendar it will not show up so others can view it. When I turn on "Show all formatting marks", some messages display symbols
that look like degree symbols (superscript circle) for some spaces. These
characters are treated as spaces by the Find command. Anyone know what these
are and they differ from normal spaces, indicated by mid-line dot?

This is a shot in the dark but I'm going to guess that one is a hard space
(you added it) vs. a soft space (one that Word/Outlook added) to format
things.
