Deleted Items Gone

Hi,

Yesterday I noticed that my hundreds of emails in the Deleted Items
were all gone. Furthermore, now, when I delete an item, it doesn't
show up in the Deleted Items folder.

There are no items in the Archive Folders > Deleted Items folder. I
did notice, 2 days ago, that Outlook wanted to auto-archive the old
emails, but I don't remember saying "yes."

I tried importing C:\Users\bmargolis\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
\archive.pst but it said "This Personal Folders file (.pst) is already
in use in the current profile."

Please help?

The IT guy at my office fixed it for me. First, I closed outlook. In
Vista, he had me delete the outlook file at C:\Users\bmargolis\AppData
\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

Then I opened outlook and it started downloading all my emails again
from the server. In a few minutes, all my deleted items were back and
everything was fixed.
