OK, I've recovered by creating a new PST file, exporting all my inbox etc to
it, closing outlook and renaming the PST files! I now have an empty (but
functioning) Deleted Items folder...
Bit drastic, and caused Outlook some indexing headaches, but it worked.
Thanks for the help anyway.
