    - Persistent 'pop up' message problem When Outlook Inbox is opened, the last message is highlighted and a pop up message appears asking where to save the (highlighted )message. No matter what reply is made - Cancel or <enter> - another box pops up asking the same thing. The only way to get out of Outlook is to open task manager and end the Outlook process. Needless to say, Outlook is not usable. I am using Vista.     - Find a folder I've been working in Outlook for many years but have never come across this. You can't search for a folder. Can you? Well I can't. I made a folder called test, tried everything I could to find it, but it never turned up in any search I did. I have a million ways to find an email, but not a folder. This came up when a friend of mine accidentall dragged and dropped a folder to an unknown location. Easy I said, I'll just do a search... Red face. This particular mailbox has more folders than I've ever seen (about 1000 I'd say) so I really need a way to find them. Please embaras me and show me just how easy it is and what I was missing.     - Logo placement in signature I have searched all the discussion groups and cannot find a solution: when I try to place my company logos to the right of my email signature, it shifts all of the signature text (on the left) into double spacing. I made sure the logo settings listed "in front of text" and I did the "delete-shift-enter" and "shift-enter" after each line of text, it did not make a difference. He can access the internet from anywhere in the house but has a problem with emails. He can send and recieve them from his house but not from here. His server is supanet and mine is orange.     - Search folder return inconsistent results Hi, I have a user running Outlook 2003 11.5608.5606 on Windows XP Sp2 connecting to Exchange 2000. When the user creates a search folder and searches, the results randomly omit sent mails, resulting in gaps in the conversation. We've ran an integrity check on the store and it passed fine, also ran offline defrag.     - Outlook 2003 Usepecified error Hi, I am having real problems trying to resolve an issue with outlook 2003 with Word as the e-mail editor. I am trying to forward an e-mail with about 5 pdf attachments that come to about 3mb in size, when I try to send the e-mail I get an "Unspecified error" If I turn off the word as the e-mail editor it works ok and sends the e-mail ok. I have also changed the text from html to plain text but i then get a 2nd error which I have managed to get rid of but readind the kb base article 870707.     - Outlook IMAP and Gmail Some time ago I tried setting up Gmail to work with IMAP and my installed copies of Outlook 2003 on the PCs at home. I was hoping that whatever PC we jumped onto and logged into that we'd be able to see our email as if we were viewing them on the one computer. Much like if you had Exchange Server set up. When ever I print a schedule in my calendar, the font comes out larger then what originally shows on the screen. I know best practices recommend routing this traffic through an ISA server. There is a trusted SSL certificate on the server and we have many mobile device users. Anyway, on a recent scan, we received the following security notice. SSLv2 Supported This SSL service supports SSLv2 connections. SSLv2 has known cryptographic weaknesses. Secure web applications should only enable the SSLv3 or TLSv1 protocols. For PCI compliance validation scans, note that either or both of the SSLv3 or TLSv1 protocols must be enabled (i.e., SSLv2 can not be the only supported protocol version). They provide the following resolution suggestion: Disable the use of SSL 2.0 if possible. Note that some older client software may not support the most recent protocol versions.     - Outlook blocking our own domain This problem just appeared up this week. SBS 2003 Premium. Exchange 2003. About 30 clients running Outlook 2003, and a couple using Outlook 2007. One user (the owner) using Outlook 2003 has had half a dozen or so emails from within our company sent to his Junk Email folder by Outlook. I set our domain as a safe sender and it shows up in the safe senders list as "@ourdomain.net". Following the examples they use, I tried adding just "ourdomain.net" (no @) but it doesn't appear to be showing up on the list, even after restarting Outlook. Any idea why our domain would suddenly start getting sporadically shifted to Junk Email, and why setting it as a safe sender is being ignored?     - Outook 2003 and Exchange Server 2003 Hello, We migrated our users' mailboxes from Exchange Server 5.5 to Exchange Server 2003, new email accounts have been added to our mail server, the new email addresses (users) will only display in the address book it you pull down and display them by "all users". We have a "Global Address List" address book that was used with Exchange 5.5. and all old Exchange 5.5 mail users show up in that address book as well in the "all users" address book. If I accidentally press a key on my keyboard while viewing Contacts in the Data File view, the keystroke changes the individual contact. I recently had this happen while on vacation and the one keystroke changed the last name of a contact and I could not remember the original 'last name'. A couple days ago Outlook stopped downloading images without any configuration change. When I manually right click and select downloading images or even unblock it globally I can see only placeholders for images (red 'x' sign in the square).     - Wierd problem I am receiving some e-mails that are just blank in the message body. When I go to my webmail I can view the message but for some reason the message content is not downloading to Outlook. This is only for a few message and I cannot tell if there is a common thing with the e-mails that are not coming through.     - Event ID 34 and 35 Found a bunch of older posts but no current ones. I'm running XP with BootCamp on a MacBook Pro, but considering how many threads I've found that's not the problem. Yet none of the solutions worked. To reiterate the problem, every time Outlook opens an Event ID: 34 Description: Failed to get the Crawl Scope Manager with error=0x800101od and Event ID: 35 Description: Failed to determine if the store is in the crawl scope (error=0x8001010d) As resolutions I have installed Windows Desktop Search 4.0. I rebuilt the index, and did a reg edit I found on another post in microsoft.public.outlook and I've removed KB952142 and 947801. I unfortunately don't have KB946963, which others removed to actually fix it. Incidentally when I start Outlook I've also received a "a data file did not close properly last time".     - Why does Outlook keep connecting to my archive PST file? I'm trying to offload some messages in my Outlook Personal Folder. I exported a folder as an ARCHIVE .pst file. In outlook, it said the folder was 300mb. It seemed to run quite a while but finally the PST file stopped incremeting in size at around 700mb. I let it sit for a while and after it didn't increment anymore, I quite Outlook and the archive.pst.tmp file dissappeared. It should filter in a way so that only mails adressed to my mail are beeing retreived (we have a common mailbox with more alias). I have been designated as an editor on my boss' email. I can view all the
received items but not the sent ones. How do I access his sent items?

He needs to give you permission to view that folder. He needs to right click
on the sent folder and choose properties, then permissions tab to add your
acct.
