I recently moved information for 2 users from Palm Desktop to Outlook 2002.
For some reason I chose an option along the way to make one of the users the
default user, so the only way to change to the other user is to go to the
Control Panel / Mail icon and change to the other user. I don't know how to
get back to the menu in Outlook to allow me to chose the user each time I
open Outlook. Does anyone know?
Thank you.

Control Panel->Mail Icon->Profiles->Prompt for profile.

I tried that and it worked, but only one time. After making the change I
went to Outlook and it let me pick the user. Then when I exited and opened
it again, it opened with the profile I chose last time. I can't seem to get
it to always ask me upon opening. I think I chose something within Outlook,
not the Control Panel, that did this, but I just can't seem to undo it.
Thanks.

Do you have the Palm cradled? That will stop Outlook from asking for a
profile because the original profile will remain open while the PDA is
cradled.

I did have the Palm in the cradle, however after taking both of them out and
trying the process again, there was no difference. It continues to go back
to the last profile that was chosen. Thanks.

Check in Task Manager to see if Outlook has completely exited. Some common
reasons why Outlook will not shut down completely when you click either the
X or Exit:

1. PDA synchronization software with your PDA in the cradle.
2. WinFax Pro (especially 10.02 in Outlook 2003) - contact their support
for an alleged fix.
3. Franklin-Covey Plan Plus!
4. COM Add-ins.
5. Mail reminder add-ins that keep a stub of Outlook open in the background
to check for new mail and fire reminders.
6. Anti-virus/firewall programs that are set to scan incoming and outgoing
mail.
7. Infuzer
