Have you considered asking technical support at AT&T? I mean, assuming AT&T
is your ISP, I would think that they would know best if they provide a USENET
server. That said, http://helpme.att.net/article.php?item=287 might help.

You will find everything you need at att.com

It will take some digging, but it's all there.

You can also use news.prodigy.net. It works nationwide.

This leads to that information if you're in the bellsouth.net part of
AT&T. I don't know if it works if you're in some other part, though.

http://my.att.net/newsgroup

Click on the Newsreader Setup option when you get there.
The instructions for Outlook Express are hidden under the
option for Internet Explorer, and Windows Mail uses mostly
the same instructions as Outlook Express but also needs an
extra step after the end of the Outlook Express instructions.

For dial up customers it is netnews.worldnet.att.net.

For those connecting through other ISPs it is inetnews.worldnet.att.net with
SSL enabled.
