Yes, it means that the file that is being checked is corrupted. What
is the entire error message that you are receiving, and when do you
see it?

It probably means that your computer hard disk has a bad sector where =
the .pst file is stored. =20

Try running ckdsk /r from the command prompt - reboot and let it do its =
thing to see if it can fix the problem.
