I have a bad trojan and the only way to remove it is to format the computer
and reinstall everything. I am worried that I will not be able to reinstall
Office 2007 though since I installed it already on 3 different computers. Is
the installation limited to 3 LOCATIONS or only 3 TIMES regardless of the
location? In other words, will the installation CD recognize my computer and
allow me to reinstall office or will I get a message telling me that I cannot
reinstall office anymore because I abused all 3 installations?

Don't worry, it's three locations (for the Home & Student edition). And it
isn't the installation that gets checked, it's the activation.

It looks at a number of the hardware and software bits on your computer,
such as the network card's address, the hard drive's serial number, the
operating system, etc. If "most" of them match (and the exact formula is
secret), the activation will just work. If for some reason it decides that
this activation is more than allowed, it will give you a phone number to
call and explain what happened.

I suspect you are SOL. You only get one shot at the free trial. You better
get a copy of you assignment and head to a friend's home to finish it.

Firstly please start a NEW thread for a different problem, rather than
piggy-backing onto an existing one.
I think unfortunately you are stuffed. You can't (AFAIK) download a free
trial version more than once. (You could try downloading a free trial of a
different version - that might work).
