The 3rd (and last?) legal copy of my Office Professional 2007 is on a Vista
machine which has crashed. If I wipe out C: and reinstall Vista what do I
need to do to reinstall Office?

Just re-install from the CD.

Insert the Office cd and install, use phone activation if on line fails

Not trying to be picky here but a single Office Professional 2007 license
only allows you to install onto one desktop and one portable device to be
used by the same person. Now, if you have purchased three OPro licenses,
simply reinstall Vista then reinstall the correctly licensed copy of Office
Pro from the supplied CD/DVD and activate either over the internet or by
phone if that is the only option available.

The only Office software that comes with three licenses for use on three
machines is the Home and Student version and that is not supposed to be used
for commercial purposes. Site licenses normally start at 5 licenses and go
up from there.
