I have created a word document using microsoft word 2003. In it I selected
the background to have a texture of water droplets. The document shows the
droplets while I am working on the page but does not show them in the print
preview screen and does not print the background either. What do I need to do
to be able to print the background effect I want?

Hi Mike,

In Word 2003 you can use
File=>Print=>Options or
Tools=>Options=>Print
to turn on the setting for [x] Backgroundcolros and images
