Using Office 2007 on Windows XP. Word and Excel won't close when I
click the "X", but File->Exit works as well as right clicking the
application on the start bar and then clicking close. Any ideas? It
doesn't seem to be consistent among the users, I've also seen this
happen to Outlook.

I have the same problem on a new computer with Office 2007 products. And when
I google there I see that there are many more with this products. All threads
I read says that it's an add-on. But the same trouble appears when I run
outlook in safe mode. When I try to go in to the security center Outlook
hangs totally!

Anyone on Microsoft have any idea? This error on new products starting to
get anoying.

Best regards

Yes there is a learning curve with the new Office interface, it works
differently than the previous releases.
