[2008-5-7]
I bought a new powerful laptop with Vista Business and trial Office 2007.
First, I installed Office 2003 side-by-side with Office 2007. Many problems.

So I uninstalled both Office 2003 and 2007, deleted the office folder in
"c:\program files" and the registry, and re-installed Office 2003. Problem
still there: any operation in Outlook will launch Windows installer to
configure Office 2003. ANY OPERATION. Receiving an email, delete an email,
copying some contacts from one pst folder to another...

On my 6-year-old laptop, copying 200 contacts takes 5 seconds, while now on
the brand-new laptop it takes half an hour, with the launching of windows
installer sessions one after another.

Please help!

See if this helps

If you have Windows Vista, then right-click on an Office program
shortcut, choose to run the Office program as Administrator, accept the
EULA, close the Office program, and then start the Office program normally.

If the previous suggestion doesn't help, then see
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=884202 "You must accept the Office
End User License Agreement every time that you start an Office program".
