Hi,

My new Samsung laptop came with a 60 day trial of office. I've found out
that I can get a copy of Office Enterprise Edition through my employer (NHS).
Will the product key work directly on this to active office, or will I have
to uninstall and re-install office? I don't want to loose all my existing
settings and customisation, but also want to have a working copy of office
when the trial runs out.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Duncan,

Usually you should be able to activate the trial with the key you get from
your employee, if it's the same version (2007 I presume).

Thanks

I'm stuggling to work out if the bundled free trial is also Enterprise. If
it isn't, will that matter? I will soon be getting an Enterprise 2007 key.

Well, you might not have all applications supported with your enterprise key,
you could always ask for the CD media if you need those. The key itself
should pose no problems.
