Installation of Microsoft Office 2007

I need some help installing Office Home and Student 2007. I put the disk in,
but it doesn't load up like it should, or even show up under my computer.
I've tried it with two different Office Home and Student disks. I can load
other disks up just fine. Any advice on the subject would be great!

Hi

AFAIK 2007 is supplied on DVD, not CD - does your computer have a DVD drive?

i have a laptop, it's both

Also, when I installed 2007 it took ages for it to start - how long have you
given it?
