What does Office 2007 provide as a PDF creator that Acrobat provides? I am
trying to compare the option of keeping Acrobat 8 when we deploy Office 2007?

The add-in does not allow you to append files to an existing .pdf. Nor can
you easily compile a single .pdf from files from different programs, for
example, a Word document and an Excel spreadsheet.

In addition to what JoAnn said, you can't edit PDF's either.
