Hi all,
I have a Dell 2800 server with 1 Ghz switches made by Dell
(2624)(2716)(2716) hooked to the network. PC's are hooked to the each switch
(14 on the network). The second switch is connected to the first switch and
the third switch is connected to the second switch. My question is this.
Are 1 Ghz switches all created equal? Do switches boost signal? Why do
some on the third switch run at such slow speeds, while others run as if
connected to the first switch? And last is there a website that talks about
switching speeds and compares the brands?
