Hi,
I'm trying to see, if it's possible to have a virtual link, i think it's
called a junction which directs a local directory, let's say c:\temp to a
mapped network drive. So as an example if I want to view the contents of my
mapped g:\networkshare in my c:\temp directory how do I do it? I'm basically
trying to fool the old version of MS sql desktop into putting the database on
a network filer instead of the local c:\ which is a desktop so I can back up
the DB on the server.
I've searched the internet and have not found anything specific, but it
appears to be impossible but I need to make sure. Thank you in advance!!
