Hello,

We have a Windows 2000 Sp4 machine acting as a small file server.
Therefore, we get the 10 sessions limit.

The problem is idle sessions don't get disconnected at all (they show
hours of idle state), preventing new users from accessing to shares.

Initial value was set to 15 mn that I changed to 10 mn, but the problem
is still there even after a reboot.

"net config server" shows all those values OK.

Any idea ? Thanks.

After further investigation (sort of) it seems that it doesn't work only
for sessions which claim to have "Open files" even if it's just the
share that is open (No locks)

Is there a way to force this ?
