I am working on WinxpSP2 workstation that works fine when not joined to our
domain, when joined to domain, it reboots and goes through applying network
settings, then it hangs at "applying computer settings", I waited for 1 hour
and nothing happened
If rebooted in "Safemode and network" I am able to login and access network
AD has OU's per organizations, they push policies to any new wks, also there
is an OU for techsupport that do not push any policy
This wks freezes when joined to any organizational OU
Have no problem when joined to OU for techsupport
Is there anything in policy that I need to check/change?
Any help will be appreciated.

Assuming the DNS is the issue here, check any errors in the event viewer.

Thank you for repply
But when I joined wks to domain under OU=Techsupport, wks does not hung.
I think DNS is setup correctly.
the problem is when wks is joined to domain under OU=UserOrg, it restarts
and never get to the login display

There must be a policy setup for the OU=userorg the is creating this problem,

You may want to use netdiag to check any errors and use gpresult to check
which policies are applying to this computer.

I had this problem on over 400 workstations and 7 Terminal servers. It didnt
matter if it was Win2000, XP, or 2003. Turns out I had a corrupted
seczones.inf in the users profile. AD Policies had pushed it out to all my
users. I edited the inf on my DC's and removed the corruption.
