i have 2 different xp pro pc's on 2 different networks that can't ping the
network attached printers on those networks. other workstations can ping the
printers ok. these workstations can ping other workstations on the network
without a problem. i have the firewalls disabled on both pc's and norton is
disabled on both pc's. both have that latest updates installed. there's
nothing in the printer setup that can block a particular ip. the printers are
from ricoh/savin, toshiba and hp.
any ideas?
