Hi,

My laptop can't detect the available wireless network, where there is some
for sure. Other computers can detect them. Why does the Wireless â??findâ??
feature not work for my computer? How to activate this feature againâ?¦.

Thanks in advance!

Lisa

What type of wireless adapter (NIC) does this laptop use?

This would be a built-in adapter so you need to check with the laptop's tech
support web site amnd check to find out he name of the Intel "wireless"
management tools. Most wireless adapters tend to "assume" to be "managed" by
the bundled tools instead of the Wireless Zero Configuration "service."

Lisa,

Check that the WiFi adapter is turned on. This happens occasionally.

And, look for a adapter driver conflict. The Intel driver, and WZC, can
conflict.
