I think I discovered what is was. The VMware bridge services and
Virtual. Machine networking services was unchecked in 2 of the other
interfaces. Once enabled most of the problems have gone away. I
guess that needs to be enabled on all interfaces. The main issue I
now have is my email. I keep getting:
Task 'Personal Mail - Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x8004210A) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from
the receiving (POP) server. If you continue to receive this message,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
If I close Outlook (2002 SP3), then open it, I collect the mail for
awhile. But once I get the above error, I'm done until I re start
Outlook.
