I drafted this last night, but forgot to click "send." If, after
reading Chuck's suggestion, you still want to delete the registry key,
read on.
First, did you uninstall mylockbox using either any uninstall
option that may have been in Start > All Programs or alternatively from
Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs? Often, uninstalling will remove
registry entries.
If you have properly uninstalled the application and the registry item
remains, you can easily delete it. However, I don't know what this
entry does or what effect deleting it from the registry might cause, so
this is at your own risk.
1. Start > Run then type "regedit" (without quotes) and click OK
2. The Registry Editor opens and looks like a typical Windows Explorer
display. In the left pane, navigate by clicking the + symbols to open
sublevels as needed until you get to
hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\enum\root\legacy_mprifl
3. Right click on that key and select Export. Pick a location that you
will remember and give it a name (such as mprifl) and click save.
Double clicking on the *.reg file that you thus create will restore the
registry entry if you later decide that deleting it was a bad idea.
4. Right click on the same key and this time select Delete.
5. Close the Registry Editor.
