Has anyone come across windows xp firewall sp3 connected to a w/network
router showing the firewall turn off but showing on security center live one
care running as well. anyone any idea as can not turn it on anyway any help
would be great thanks in advance

Are you confusing the router's firewall with XP's and One Live (Both
separate firewalls)

No mate firewall in live one care showns as on but in network connection the
firewall option is greyed out and off is this because of live one care ? or
something more head hurting

Yes, the firewall in Live OneCare takes over and disables the built-in
Windows Firewall. Your system is working as designed.
