Most of the equipment on my LAN is running at 1000mbit/sec. I'd like to take
advantage of Jumbo Frames. I have no problem setting this up on my PC's, but
I'd like to know what kind of effect it will have on devices that are only
100mbit/sec capable, like my cable modem or old laptop?

Hi
The effect would not be much on 100Mb/sec. Devices.
However if the same TCP/IP stack is used for Internet connection it will
slow down the connection.
In general on peer to peer Network Jumbo frames make little difference (if
any).
