Windows XP Pro SP2, using static IP
Some programs, when shutdown, continue to appear running in Task Manager,
sometimes several copies.
Also, computer loses network connectivity - can still ping all computers on
the network, but can not connect; workgtoup finds no connection.
Full shut down and restart restores connectivity until the next time it
shuts dow.
Suggestions as to where to start looking?
TIA

Message unintelligible. Every Windows computer loses network
connectivity when it is shutting down and regains it when
starting up.
