Belkin Wireless Router Trouble

I have a Belkin Wireless Router that I use to wirelessly hook in to m
home network, while I'm wired to my Xbox 360 in the other room. I hav
absolutely no trouble connecting immediately, and I get great speed, bu
it constantly looks for a certificate to log me on, and never finds it
and it will from time to time, pop up a message telling me that window
was unable to find a certificate to log me on to the server. It's jus
driving me nuts that it won't just connect already. If I mouse over th
icon in the task bar, it says excellent signal strength, but it'
validating identity

It seems that your router might be expecting Wireless security WPA2.
XP does not have this WPA2 service within "most: service pack. Get
this update here:

Hello Travis,

This is reference to your Belkin Wireless Router issue.

1. Before doing the troubleshooting steps connect the computer with the LAN
Cable.

2. Please go to Start and click on Run and type "compmgmt.msc" and click ok.

3. It will take you to Computer management window.

4. Click on Device Manager and go to Network Adapter and right click on
adapter and click on update and after updating it click on Uninstall.

5. Go to Command Prompt and type "gpupdate /force" and it will refresh the
policy of the wireless.

6. After that please restart the computer. After that you will be able to
connect to wireless.
