After I import a wmv clip into movie maker, there are instances when the
video image goes black, completely black or sometimes some pixels go black,
almost as if the image breaksdown, the audio is fine, just the video image.
The video prior to importing is fine, but when I import the clip into the
storyboard, there is a "breakdown" in the video image from one frame to the
next.
can anybody help?

p.s. the images come from youtube as .flv and I convert them to .wmv (if
relevant to problem)

The problem may be in the conversion tool or process.. what are you using?

As an experiment, you could try to d/l the flv files using
http://www.videodownloadx.com/ then convert them to
WMV using another program. Others have recommended
Super.
