I am trying to capture video using Movie Maker Capture Wizard and when I get
to 'Video Settings', the option to use DV-AVI is not given (it is greyed out
and not in bold as the other 2 options are). I want to save to a DVD to
playback on a DVD player and I have been told that this is the best setting
to use. Would you know the reason this option is not available, otherwise
what would be the next best setting to use?

it's only available to a digital camcorder connected by firewire...

OK, thanks. This may be a dumb question (I'm pretty new to this), but how do
I get a firewire and how will I know if it will be compatible with my
computer and Sony handycam?
