is there any way to place text in a given location on a
clip? it seems that program doesn't given you the ability
to place. am i missing something?

i dont think so

and this is one of my biggest problems with MM2

I love it

but not being able to put the text exactly where I need it... sucks ass

yes you can, on the storyline just drag the text in the overlay to where you
want it within the clip
