I need to get a sound of a cell phone ringing on my movie. My computer does
not have a microphone (so I can't use the "narration" mode). Can I record
the sound of my cell phone ringing on my digital video camera, import the
clip and then only pull out the audio?

Or is there another way?

Yes...when you import the clip of the
cell phone ringing into movie maker...
drag the clip to the Audio/Music track
on your timeline. (be sure to drag the
clip all the way to the left or you'll have
dead air at the beginning)

Then go to...File / Save movie File...
the result will be a .wmv file of audio
only.

This doesn't change the steps but...FWIW...the
resulting file with be a .wma (audio) file...not a
.wmv (video) file.
