Scenalyzer seems like a cool tool for scene indexing aquickly.
Are there any other products?

I'm considering one program that does everything.

Hi there,

You could take a look at the links on my website. there is a program I am
starting to hear a lot about called MuVee, there is a link on my site (I
think) I'm told that the results are rather professional.

It just occurs to me, are you talking about creating chapters a la DVD ? If
so, I use Dazzle DVD Complete...rather smart program.

what i mean by tape index is that sclive will erad your whole tape in 5
minutes taking snapshots where thescene changes, so you know what's on it,
and can choose which scenes to send to the computer.

You can use the Windows Media Encoder to make and use an EDL.... there's a
link to download it on the Setup > Software page of my website.

An EDL is an 'Edit Decision List'.... search the Encoder help file for EDL
and there are 13 hits that you can explore... from setting up an EDL to
using it.

But maybe it's not an Edit Decision List that you're looking for...
