If I want to save my project in a file or to disc the MM fills the swap file till 1,66 GB and then the CPU Load falls from 100 % to 2-10 %. After that the progressbeam goes very fast to 100% and finish the file. If i open the finishd file the first half is ok but in the second half i only hear the music. wat can i do
my os is XP SP1 MM2 Toshiba Laptop 512 MB 40 GB HDD

Do a hard drive tune-up and try again... free up more
space and defrag. If that doesn't resolve it see the
Problem Solving.... Can't Save a Movie page of
www.papajohn.org

Defrag is a very good thing to do and it has several benefits, but freeing
up space is not one of them. After a defrag, you will have exactly the same
amount of free space that you had before the defrag. It will just be
continuous free space and not fragmented free space.

Hello, I have the same problem as you. I have defrag the
disc and it freezes nevertheless when I saving the
project. If somebody has a solution...

I have this exact same problem. . .The point at which the
movie freezes changes with each save. . .
