how to reinstall MM from SP2

I have movie maker and need to reinstall to fix a problem. How do you do this
if the version you have was installed after installing SP2. Do I reinstall
SP2 again even though I have done Windows updates since that was installed?

You can rerun the SP2 update and then go to Windows Update to download any
updates that were "overwritten" by the SP2 rerun. I also had to do this on
a system that lost some of its critical files when I did a Windows disk
cleanup (I still haven't figured out how that happened) but it did fix the
problem with the missing files.
