pausing after a pan or zoom

I would like to find a way to stop a pan or zoom at the very end for a second
or so before the transition to the next image. It would seem not difficult
to someone who knows a little XML, i.e. not me.. :) Thanks for any help in
advance.
PS. I am using the Rehan pan zoom effects package for most of my pans and
zooms.

I made these pan effects using PIP Plus. it works the opposite way to what
you want... it speeds up at the ends and slows down in the middle part of
the pan. You can also make what you desire by modifying the xml easily.
