    - Converted MPEG2 movie bitrate to high (PAL)? After converting an AVI file (created by Windows Movie Maker) to MPEG2 using Blaze Media Pro converter to get the fil in the PAL format to burn on a DVD using TMPGEnc DVD Author I get an message that the combined bitrate is to high (9992 kbps instead of the maximum 9848 kbps). Any suggestion what might be wrong since I can't find any options to reduce the bitrate enogh to get below 9848 without totaly destroying the videoquality. Perhaps Blaze Media Pro isn't a suitable program to convert to MPEG2 or I should start of in Windows Movie Maker with another format instead of AVI...?     - No sound on DVD player I am a total novice on movie making and editing, so please bear with me. I have recently purchased a Sony DCR HC 30. Using Windows movie maker, I have downloaded a movie onto a CD-R, which works fine when played back on the computer. However it doesnt play in the DVD player.     - burning a dvd I saved MM file as a DV-AVI(NTSC) file, and used Nero to burn it onto a 4.7 GB DVD+RW. It was a 30 minute slide show with music. About 20 minutes into the movie, the video stopped and the audio continued to the end. When I went back to view the file in Nero, that is how it played also.     - Sound issues from A Samsung DVI recorder SCD103 Im using the MM2, video comes in scratchy but no audio. When I use the Samsung recorder software, the sound works but I cant import the file to MM2 for editing. I have tried for a week now, and I finally gave up.     - dv-avi movie too large to fit on DVD? I have finally finished making my first MM2 movie. Burned to DVD with Sonic & it is very low quality video when played on DVD player (choppy, fuzzy, etc.) Source video is clear when viewed straight from camcorder to TV. I read this site & Papa John's site & decided to save movie as dv-avi since info seems to suggest that will improve quality on the DVD.     - MM2 Help w Install and Save Can't get MM2 to install. Same three dll failures as everyone else here. If I try to register them from the command line I get DllRegisterServer in C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\whatever dll I tried failed. Return code was: 0x8007007e. A search for this yeilded nothing.     - Saving the Movie CD I am attending a class on Windows Movie making. With the instructor guidance, I saved my work on the CD. In fact when the saving process is completed, the system let me see a preview of what was saved on the CD. So my project is on the CD - anyway it was when I left my classroom. Taking this same CD home, I opened it and couldn't find the file that I saved in class. It is very very frustrating in going through the process of saving with Windows Movie Making. The above is one issue. My second issue is, I bring home my completed task for that night at school on my CD and bring it home. I insert the CD in my home PC and click the file. When it is all downloaded, I see a bunch "red Xs" in the spot where my personal pictures was. Well, it was there the last time I looked in class. If anyone know the solutions, please email me.     - DV-AVI files play choppy after backup I just installed a second hard drive to backup my movies (Western Digital, 7200rpm, 200GB, 8MB cache). We all know how much space they take up. When I tried playing in WMP just to see that the backup went ok, the video/audio was choppy. I'm pretty sure I've read on this board before that if working with video kept on a second drive, this might happen but I just wanted to double check that everything with my files is still ok. I copied one of the smaller videos back to my desktop and it plays fine. Is this normal? After copying back to desktop and the video is ok, I figure the file integrity is unaltered.     - Effects no longer preview in MM2 I'm hoping someone can help me with a new problem I'm having with MM2. It had been working properly until last weekend. Last weekend I installed the Pixelan demo. Since then, my video effects and transitions no longer "preview" in the preview window. I have to apply them to the file to see what they will look like. What can I do to fix this? I've already tried the following: installing the full Pixelan program; re-installing MM2; and accessing the effects preview through various means (spacebar, double-clicking, right-clicking, and pressing play in the preview window). I have an NVIDA card & understand there are certain issues with that card, but the patch was installed when I purchased the PC, and, as I said, the program was working prior to last weekend. I'd successfully made about 10 movies in the month I'd had this system. Any help/guidance you can offer would be appreciated. But with the amount of data I have in this system & the time it took me to transfer it from my old system, I am not prepared to do a System Recovery.     - Dazzle and WMM 2 I've just got Dazzle Digital Video Creator 150 Hi-speed. It's working fine and importing audio/video from old vhs tapes.     - The Age Old DVC 80 question I'm sure those of you regular to this group have seen this question a million times, so I apologize for hassling you with it again. I can not get my Dazzle DVC 80 to capture audio in Windows MovieMaker 2. I go to the capture settings and select Dazzle DVC 80 Audio as my audio device. It tells me that ADC is my audio input source, but I am unable to adjust the input level, which is turned all the way down. In the Movie Tasks pane, under Capture Video, click Capture from video device. 2.. On the Video Capture Device page, in Available devices, click the DV camera. 3.. In the Enter a file name for your captured video box, enter a file name for your captured video file. Then, in the Choose a place to save your captured video box, select the location where you want your video to be saved or click Browse to select a location. 4.. The tape in the DV camera rewinds. Capturing begins automatically and ends when the video tape ends.     - Can't record DVD copies of movies I made, thinks it's copyrighted. I video tape football games and homes for people. When I video tape, I edit it on Movie Maker2, send it back to the camcorder, send it to the DVD recorder but the DVD recorder thinks it's copyrighted material and it's things I have recorded. Make sure you check out the FAQ on what it does and how to run it (That will take about one minute of your time!!)
