Help-I edited and saved two "projects" then saved as a "movie"(s). I open
nero "smartessentials" and create a dvd. I browse to "add video files." I add
both wmv files.
When I preview to either add chapters or just preview, the audio is
corrupted.
I successfully burn dvd's with MovieMaker using the exact same clips/files,
and play them using mm, nero, and a plain dvd player.
But if I try to put 1 or more files together using nero, the audio corrupts.
I found "filter" options in mm, and I unchecked them (4 Nero filters listed)
per mm instructions to supposedly resolve "conflicts" or "issues...".
Resaved and imported...No luck.

I have had the same problem. Not just Nero. It happened in Windows Movie
maker as well as Roxio 9. I am using Vista now and 440watt power suppply.
Also I burn the VOB TS files to a spare hard drive and then to the DVD. I
have no more problems when encoding to TS/VOB first and then burning it
afterwards to a DVD. Burn at Once does not work like it is suppose to with
any program.

Why? Does your version include NeroVision?
It is for authoring DVDs. Have a look at the
following tutorial:

How to convert all video formats to DVD
using Nero Vision 4

I seriously doubt it.
