I'm just wondering if my WMM2.1 is installed properly
after the SP2 update. I've read that there is supposed
to be a third tab with codecs listed that you can check
and uncheck. I do not have that third tab but I do have
all the files listed on Papa Johns website in the WMM
folder. eg wwm2res.dll dated 4/8 etc.

When I go to the help section on the tool bar at the top
and click on "About WMM" it comes up as
version 5.1(......SP2)
Windows Movie Maker version 2.03312.0 This sounds like I
am not completely installed??
Thanks
.

Just checked mine and it came up as version 2.1.4026.0

I'm running XP pro and SP2 is installed.

Have no idea as to why you may have had problems.

Diane -

Download version 2.1 and reinstall it on your computer. Do you have SP2
downloaded? If so, you might consider reinstalling it after you reinstall
WMM 2.1.

No more downloading WWM 2.1 as a single file. Now you have to install SP2.
