movie is freezing up during playback

Hi There,
I'm having a problem with playback after rendering the movie. The video
portion stalls however, the audio still plays and will play all the way
through to the end of the movie. I have gone back into the movie project and
if I move the picture frame that the video hangs up on and rerender the movie
the movie will then play through but, stall on a different frame.
I have tried different file sizes and types of movie styles to save the
movie in and it continues to happen on a different frame each time.
Also it if you replay the movies each time it will freeze on the same frame
as it did the first time so it seems to be something to do with the picture
or the transition effect.
Any help would be appreciated.

based on your question it sounds like you use pictures in your movie. Try
converting your picture to BMPs then replace them in your movie.
