importing mpg into Movie Maker

Trying to import an Mpg into Movie maker. I can watch the
movie in my media player but when i try to import it it
say the file is empty.

Any ideas

Hello there,

Movie Maker does not work well with MPrg, you should convert it to an AVI file.

If you do not have a converter go to my web site and click GREAT LINKS >
KNOWLEDGE BASE > VIDEO HELP. That site is possibly the best resource there is
on these matters.
