All .avi files imported into WMM are overwriting each other. Does anyone
know how to import a bunch of .avi files into WMM as a group rather than what
is happening to me now which is I end up with the last file imported? It
makes no difference if the files come from a Sony camcorder or a Canon
digital camera they all overwrite each other when imported into WMM.

The files have individual names but still get overwritten during import.

check your collections... a new one is automatically created for each AVI
file that is imported.... you may be looking at the clips in the collection
and expecting to see the others there too...they won't by as they are in
their own collections.

Thanks PapaJ, each file is imported into its own collection and appears under
the collection folder. I don't understand WMM but am able to use it with
this help.
