home movie

i have two mini dv tapes (50 mins each) from a recent holiday. i want to get
these two onto one dvd. can i import them both into WMM at once (obviously
one after another) to edit and save into one PC file and then burn, or is
there another way??

any help is much appreciated.

you can do it if you want... provided your DVD making software supports
putting a video of that overall duration on a disc.

high quality video DVDs hold an hour.... and the extra compression lowers
the quality a bit as you add more.... and starter DVD software is often
limited to an hour of video. You would need something beyond the starter
version.
