here's where you can get movie maker 2

http://www.download.com/Windows-Movie-Maker/3000-2194_4-10187903.html?tag=stbc.gp

because it took me ages to find it, i had to use google and sift through
a few pages. at first, i thought i was great because i found it on pc
world:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,22893,00.asp

and it was 2.0! finally, so i dont have to get xtra p*ss stupid pack 2
to get it. but, it didn't work, because it uses microsofts site, and
since microsoft so loves its customers, they removed the older version
from all existance.

its like in this NYT article:
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/12/19/business/yourmoney/19digi.html

"Mr. Schare of Microsoft does have one suggestion for those who cannot
use the latest patches in Service Pack 2: buy a new personal computer.
By the same reasoning, the security problems created by a car's broken
door lock could be solved by buying an entirely new automobile. The
analogy comes straight from Mr. Schare. 'It's like buying a car,' he
said. 'If you want to get the latest safety features, you have to buy
the latest model.'

In this case, the very latest model is not a 2001 Internet Explorer, but
a 2004 Firefox."

So, if you're looking for MM2 for the people who decided against
upgrading for the time being, there's the link.

Hope that helped everybody out!!!

A Non-AOL user (lol, reference to another post)
